Fried Miso Fish

Japanise recipe of light and delicious miso fish.

Ingredients

This Recipe Serves 10

200 gr Miso paste

200 gr Amazake

20 gr Lemongrass

50 gr Garlic

50 gr Shallot

3 gr Hot Chilli

500 gr Fish (snapper, seabass, mackrel, pomfret fish)

Cassava Flour (Enough just to dapped for frying)

Corn starch (Enough just to dapped for frying)

Direction

  • Chop lemongrass, garlic, shallot, and hot chili.
  • Mix all the ingredients (except the fish) together in a bowl.
  • Dapped the fish after you clean them into the mix of ingredients you did before. Leave them for about 1 - 2 hours at room temperature to marinate. The longer you marinate the stronger of the miso paste taste you will get.
  • Prepare the cooking oil to fried the fish.
  • Cover the marinated fish with cassava flour and cornstarch.
  • Fried the fish until it gets brown.
  • Serves

    Serve warm on a plate, with vegetable broth, marinated vegetable and tofu. Enjoy!
