Coriander Mint Chutney

Chutney is a spicy or savory condiment originating in India. Chutney is made from fruits, vegetables, and/or herbs with vinegar, sugar, and spices. It's used to provide balance to an array of dishes, or highlight a specific flavor profile.

Ingredients

This Recipe Serves 4

1 cup Coriander leaves / Dhania patta

1/4 cup Mint / Pudina leaves

3-4 Green Chillies

1/2 tsp Jeera powder

2 tbs Lemon juice or 1 tbs curd

Salt to taste

Direction

Grind all ingredients in a blender. You can store it for 1 week in the fridge.

Serves

With flat bread and possibly with other matching chutneys.

Chef's Tip

Add 2 almonds or 2 cashews while grinding to maintain the green colour.
