The owner Jose comes from Brazil, but he was living 8 years in Madrid and fell in love with spanish culture. In 2017 Jose came from Australia for yoga retreat in Ubud. His friend Tatiana drove him around Ubud and showed him Canggu and Pererenan. He immediatelly fell in love with Pererenan, because it has a more local vibe. He was looking for a challenge. Because of his love to Spain, he decided to open a good spanish & fish place called Pescado.Pescado believes that the quality of food and the service are the most important aspects. Jose also believes that the consistency is a very important thing when running a restaurant. They try to serve always the best fresh fish and ingredients – all fresh 7 days a week. Pescado is one of the iconic restaurant in Pererenan that brings the community together.
